This year, STASY participates for the first time at the 68th Kifissia Flower Exhibition. From April 27 to May 15, visitors
to the exhibition will also have the opportunity to tour STASY’s booth, which will be located in the central part of Kifissia Grove.
Completing 153 years of life and presence in the urban transport system and “on a steady track from 1869 to the present”, STASY re-establishes and reminds its historical course in the transportation of the Attica’s residents.
At an area owned by STASY, Kifissia Grove, within walking distance of the “Kifissia” station on the Metro Line 1, which completes 65 years of operation, STASY invites visitors to the floricultural exhibition to a journey through time and history of the third earliest urban railway in the world. The starting point was in 1869, when the steaming train began its first itinerary from Thissio to Piraeus. The destination is today’s achievements and challenges.
STASY’s booth will be open to visitors who wish to get to know the network of the means of fixed track transport better, but also to participate in an original knowledge contest, where the winners will be awarded prizes which will facilitate their movements.
